In battle[]
A Pokémon with Flash Fire is immune to Fire-type moves. In addition, when hit by a Fire-type move, this Ability activates, boosting the power of all Fire-type moves used by the Pokémon by 1.5× until it switches out or loses Flash Fire.
Flash Fire is not activated by non-Fire-type moves that cause a burn. If a Pokémon with Flash Fire is frozen and subsequently hit by a Fire-type move, it will thaw but be otherwise unaffected by the move, and Flash Fire will still activate.
Outside of battle[]
Flash Fire has no effect outside of battle.
